Mystery of life

Miracle, Love or Just Life...
It was 2.30 in the afternoon, I just stepped into one of the patients house. A 78 years old man. But very much young by his heart and will power. Belongs to a middle class family.A Retired teacher. I had gone there for the yearly follow up. One year back he shown the symptoms like Parkinsonism. He was finding difficulty in initiating the movements. After an initial assessment doctors diagnosed him as the patient suffering from Parkinsonism. But over a period of time the medicines that doctors had given it to him remain unaffected. After a deep investigation about his condition one of the finest doctor diagnosed him as Cervical Canal Stenosis grade 3.
The grade of Canal Stenosis was so high that the Doctor suggested them to go for the surgery. After few days they agreed for same.
Before the surgery he could only get up from lying position to sitting position. Sitting to standing was very difficult for him. The doctor assured them that he will be walking again after the surgery. But he needs to go under " Physiotherapy Treatment" after surgery. "Regularly" .
Surgery was done and successful. Immediate they started Physiotherapy for the patients rehabilitation. He recovered well. But after a period of time the recovery stopped. He was not responding to any of the treatment , there were no improvement seen in his condition. The Physiotherapist were worried , weather they are providing the correct physiotherapy treatment or not. The team of Physiotherapist came together to handle this issue. They had several meetings, discussions over it. They did several research on it and finally came to a conclusion.
Patient was demoralized after several sessions of medicine, he went completely into the depressions and which affected the recovery of the patient. After that conclusion the senior physiotherapist went to the patients place, just to talk with the patient and his family that they he requires Psychiatric help. But he was completely amazed when he saw the moment.
The patients grandson was standing on chair and was staring at his Grandfather. After a while he shouted loudly. Good morning teacher. He got down from chair and responded to his Good Morning by himself. Good morning students. Please be sited and open your text books. His grand father was quietly looking at him, without whispering a word he was just sitting on his wheeled chair.
The senior physiotherapist waited there for a minute just to grab a reaction from the old patient. But no reactions.....!!!!
After a while grandson asked one question as he was playing teacher teacher. What is the capital of India. Such a simple question but he acted like student that doesn't know the answer. Grandson himself stood up on the chair as a punishment. This was funny. And suddenly the old man Shouted....... It's Delhi you dumb..............
The Physiotherapist was surprised to see that patient responding. The old man got from from his wheeled chair and told his grandson once again you dumb fellow go out of my class.... All kept mum.... And a while later they both laughed together............
The physio was speechless to see the miracle and quoted there weather this was miracle, a person who was not standing , walking or simply moving from his chair actually stood up and laughed with his grandson when he came to his own profession. He acted like teacher and shouted on his student who was no one but his "26" years grandson....... From that day the physio started believing miracle does occur with positive attitude. Only thing you have to do is spread love and encourage patients by their respective ways. Patients will get tremendous will power to get cured fast.
At present a 78 year old person is hell and hearty with driving his brand new Ambassador car, which was his dream to buy and drive, completed by his grandson and his will power...... I went to check his all movements and his strength of all muscles. All i could remember is he was performing shirshasana (the most difficult yogasana)he asked me to do it and he laughed cheerfully....
